Pollinators
Jaap de Roode is a board member of the Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Trail, a non-profit organization founded by the former and late First Lady Rosalynn Carter. The goal of the trail is to raise awareness about pollinators and to recreate native pollinator habitat. The Trail organizes symposia and workshops, and provides information on how to create pollinator gardens. The de Roode lab at Emory University provides nectar and milkweed plants for people in the metro-Atlanta area to help establish gardens.
The official site of the Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Trail is here.
